Surgical Services:  Basic soft-tissue surgeries and limited orthopedic procedures

Anesthesia:  We have a variety of anesthetics available and are able to adapt our anesthetic protocols to the individual patient's needs based on age, health status, breed, illness and condition.  All patients are monitored using the latest technology, including capnography, ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure and temperature monitors.
   
Radiology Services:  We have on-site, state-of-the-art digital X-ray equipment that provides quality imaging and dramatically improved diagnostic capability.  Equipped with digital radiography, we now have fast access to our area specialists when needed for consultation on critical cases.

Dentistry:  We strongly recommend routine dental care, both at home and in-hospital when indicated.  Our dental services, most requiring full inhalant anesthesia, include full dental prophylaxis (scaling & polishing), tooth extractions when needed, and minor oral surgery.  Discounts are offered for patients on an annual dental cleaning schedule.

Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine:  A new offering at Companion, we now can offer your pet a broadened array of therapeutic options.  We have had success with difficult arthritic, dermatologic, and behavior cases when used along with traditional medicine.  Read more about Acupuncture at CAH

Laboratory:  We are able to perform a wide variety of in-house laboratory tests, including serum chemistries, heartworm testing, FeLV/FIV testing, cytology, urinalyses, and fecal parasite testing (including Giardia).  We also use commercial and university veterinary labs for specialized tests.
    
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification through AKC Companion Animal Recovery.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a large inventory of pharmaceuticals & biologicals, flea & tick preventatives, heartworm preventatives, shampoos, many over-the-counter products, and prescription diets.  For products not kept in stock, we will order for your pet or connect you with a reputable outside source.

Boarding:  We provide boarding as a service to our clients. We require up-to-date vaccinations and exams, and that your pet be spayed/neutered (if of appropriate age).

Bathing:  We offer routine as well as therapeutic bathing.
